The Late Night London Pub Manifesto

Considering London is one of the world's biggest and most vibrant cities, it's surprisingly difficult to get a drink anywhere after 11pm.

Of course, there are innumerable clubs and bars to choose from in the early hours, but we're talking PUBS. Real ale. Somewhere to sit and chat. Maybe the odd bit of food. A grouchy landlord. A taciturn landlady. An indefinable and slightly unpleasant musty smell. Why should we pub-lovers be denied the chance to drink in the places we like until the clubs close at 3am, 4am, or later even?

This blog will be a resource for those who wish to do just that.

I'll be open-minded, though; if a place calls itself a bar, I'll allow its inclusion, as long as it's free to get in, and not shit. Seems fair, no?
